Pakistan likely to enforce 'force majeure' in T20 World Cup 'boycott' row. BCCI's stand revealed
Pakistan boycott India T20 World Cup: Pakistan might look to enforce the 'Force Majeure' clause in order to avoid heavy sanctions from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
LAHORE, Pakistan (AP) — Pakistan handed Australia its biggest-ever defeat in a Twenty20 just five days ahead of the T20 World Cup to sweep the series 3-0 on Sunday. Pakistan’s commanding 111-run win in the third and final game eclipsed Australia’s previous biggest defeat when England registered a 100-run win at Southampton in 2005.
Pakistan have threatened to boycott their T20 World Cup 2026 game against India, which will take place in Colombo on February 15. Both India and Pakistan are in Group A with USA, Namibia, and the Netherlands.
Pakistan have delivered an exceptional performance to beat Australia by 90 runs in the second game to win the series. After scoring 198, they have bowled Australia out for a paltry 108.
