Congressionally approved education funds frozen by the Trump Administration now the subject of multi-state lawsuit, including California.

Donel Mark Geisen was being treated for critical self-inflicted injuries he sustained after calling 911 to report he had murdered his wife. This incident occurred on July 24th, 2025, at their home on the 3700 block of Raymond Way in Carmel. Barbara Lynn Geisen succumbed to her injuries at the residence.

Donel Geisen also suffered multiple life-threatening stab wounds, although the Sheriff’s Office later said they were self-inflicted.
