Tampa reached another milestone on Tuesday afternoon, reaching an all-time record heat index of 119° at around 2:30 p.m.

An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for our Hump Day. This means that heat index values could climb OVER 110 degrees. Tuesday, Meridian’s highest heat index value was 115. Sadly, our entire area could experience something similar for Wednesday.
