Authorities have identified the suspect in a deadly car blast that targeted a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, as Guy Edward Bartkus, a 25-year-old man they say "had nihilistic ideations".

The car bombing outside a California fertility clinic, which killed one person and injured four others, appears to be driven by anti-natalist ideology, according to two senior law enforcement officials briefed on the incident.

A suspect believed to be the perpetrator of the reproductive clinic bombing in Palm Springs, Calif. Saturday, has been identified as Guy Edward Bartkus, 25, a resident of Twentynine Palms.
