The Mexico City Grand Prix has secured a new contract to host a Formula One race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez track in the Mexican capital until 2028. The Mexican event has featured on the F1 calendar for three distinct periods through the championship’s 75-year history, with its current run starting back in 2015.

Formula 1 has signed a fresh three-year contract extension with promoters of the Mexico Grand Prix to keep the race on the calendar until 2028. The 2025 edition of the race at Mexico City's Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez is the last one of its current contract, with promotor CIE having to negotiate new terms with F1.

The Mexico City Grand Prix has reached an extension of its agreement to host an F1 race at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez track in the Mexican capital through 2028.
