Elections Ontario's figures for advanced voting from Thursday to Saturday reveal that 6.14 per cent of eligible voters participated.

That number is a decrease from the 2022 election where 1,066,545 voters, 9.92 per cent of eligible voters, voted over a 10-day period. In 2018, 698,609 voters (6.8 per cent) cast their ballot over five days of advance voting.

It's the final weekend of Ontario's provincial election campaign before Ontarians head to the polls on Thursday, Feb. 27. Party leaders are fanning out across the province, continuing to make their pitches to the people.
