Boston Celtics flatten Milwaukee Bucks sans Giannis, win 107-79 (photos)
The Celtics demolished the Giannis Antetokounmpo-less Bucks 107-79 in one of their more lopsided victories of the NBA's 2025-26 regular season.
If the Milwaukee Bucks don't trade Giannis Antetokounmpo ahead of Thursday's deadline, the team may prefer him to remain sidelined as long as possible with his current calf injury in an effort to prevent another injury and to essentially tank for a better draft pick.
Milwaukee Repertory Theater's 2026-'27 season schedule, revealed Feb. 2, includes a new musical about Bucks fans called "MKE MVP."
If either first in those years is traded, the only way the Bucks could deal the other would be as a swap, where the acquiring team could move up to the Bucks’ position if they so choose. Depending on how good that team feels they’ll be in those seasons, a swap could bump them up into the lottery or higher, so there’s plenty of appeal here.

Celtics down Bucks 107-79 and hand them their fifth straight loss
As soon as the Boston Celtics took the lead on Sunday afternoon, it felt like it was over for the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks lost 107-79 to the Celtics, dropping their fifth straight and scoring their fewest points of the season.
Before the Cleveland Cavaliers completed a trade with the Sacramento Kings over the weekend, the team was looking into other assets as well.
