Bayern Munich progressed to the next round of the Champions League on Tuesday night thanks to a draw against Celtic, but star striker Harry Kane may have suffered an injury in the process. Vincent Kompany took off the English striker at half-time due to some discomfort.

Football is so often a cruel game, and it was hard not to feel for the Celtic players who lay dejectedly on the turf as their Bayern counterparts ran to the corner celebrating, and no doubt breathing a huge sigh of relief.

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane was absent in training but head coach Vincent Kompany played down fears of a serious injury and was hopeful he would be available for Tuesday's Champions League playoff second leg clash against Celtic at the Allianz Arena.
